MyCase Indiana Public Records Search Online – mycase.in.gov

The MyCase Indiana website or Odyssey Public Access is a platform that allows people to search for non-confidential cases filed in Indiana Courts. The platform provides its patrons access to official court records, case information, and court information that are filed using the Odyssey case management system.

It is recommended that while accessing mycase.in.gov, you must use the two latest versions of all major browsers, and Windows 8 and earlier versions of browsers are not compatible with the site.

Mycase Indiana Search Courts allows people to search public records, cases, or court documents in three different categories-

  • By using information related to a case.
  • By using the personal information of the person involved.
  • By using the attorney’s information.

Search by Case

When you are searching by case, you are supposed to type in the following information-

  1. Case Number
  2. Citation Number
  3. Cross Reference Number

While entering a number, you don’t have to add any hyphens or leading zeroes. Case number searches the entire case number history. Case numbers are unique as each part of case numbers corresponds to the type of case, when it was filled, the court in which it was filed, and the county in which the court is.

Citation and Cross-reference numbers typically do not produce many search results and are less common than case numbers. They must also be filled exactly as it appears in Odyssey.

Search by Attorney

To search by an attorney, you must either fill in the name of the attorney or the bar number of the attorney. The rest of the process is the same as case and party.

Before conducting a case search, it is advisable to look for the Indiana courts that use the Odyssey case management system for non-confidential cases. At courts.in.gov you can see a list of courts. Abolished Courts with archived cases still in Odyssey, courts that are scheduled to begin using Odyssey shortly soon, and courts with renumbered identifiers.

The list includes the names of the Trail courts and their counties, court identifiers, and go-live dates. In case the court identifier code has changed, it will mention the former code next to the name of the court and if the court is no longer using Odyssey, it says abolished in front of them. For example, Clark/Clarksville Town Court went live on 10/28/2016 and its court identifier code is 10I01.

    When does “my case” update “Charges” to reflect the Judges ruling on a case. Example: Charge of Felony reduced to Misdemeanor. Probation was discharged 9/8/21. When will the charges be updated to Misdemeanor?
